January -
01/20/08 - Congratulations to Livia Quan and JD for picking up their second Rally Novice Q at their second trial
entered! I couldn't be prouder of their success as they go two for two!
01/14/08 - RUMOR moves up 9 spots in the ASCA Conformation Merit standings to #10!!! Rumor has
accomplished this with only 4 weekends shown!!

03/29/08 - Congrats to RIOT as he returns to the agility ring (we haven't run a single course in 7 months!)
and qualifies in Open Regular. He also ran three beautiful runs in Gamblers and each of which were
spoiled by me!! I swear...it's a wonder he puts up with me sometimes! *LOL*
03/25/08 - Happy Birthday to RIOT!!! I just can't believe it's been 7 years already!! I am so lucky to have
the greatest dog in the world! Yes....I am biased! *LOL*
Speaking of Riot....We are thrilled to announce our 2008 litter here at Marabil to be sired by Riot. Check
out the PUPPIES page for more information on this awesome cross. Reservations are filling fast!!

I got an email from Livia about JD
that I loved so much, I had to share.
Here is what Livia had to say about
JD's recent encounter with some
cattle on open space land..."We had
to go through that fence there, and
JD was at a stand-off with one of the
bulls. When the bull advanced, it
wasn’t a good sign when JD started
running back to me. But fortunately,
he remembered that he was a cattle
dog and turned back and barked. I
scooted to the left and the bull
figured he better not mess with my
big bad dog and went off the trail.
The other cattle followed suit and
also went off the trail. Just another
day on the range!" *LOL*

05/03/08 - After taking the last month or so off, we headed out to the AKC Sanctioned Match today for a little
ring time practice with Cinder. Imagine how thrilled we were to come home with a Best of Breed and Herding
Group 1 under Breeder Judge Lynda Lopez! Big thanks to Lynda for all her wonderful compliments on Cinder!
05/03/08 - After taking the last month or so off, we headed out to the AKC Sanctioned Match today for a little
