December -
12/14/06 - RUMOR's puppies have arrived!! Six
gorgeous puppies sired by "Chase" (ASCA CH.
Melodys Buzz'n By, DNA-VP). Three blacks and
three blue....with three girls and three boys! Check
out the PUPPIES page for more pictures and info!
November -
11/27/06 - RIOT is ranked #12 in Started Cattle for the ASCA National Merit Standings (as of the
November/December Aussie Times)! Thanks again to Debbie Pollard for her great job training and
handling Riot in herding.
11/19/06 - After taking two years off from competing in AKC Agility, Riot earned his second Open
Standard Q this weekend at an AKC trial in Santa Rosa.
11/11/06 - RIOT goes Winners Dog at the Wine
Country KC show in Napa today to FINISH HIS
AKC CHAMPIONSHIP!!! I have to thank Gina
Stubblefield, of Hotwire Australian Shepherds, for
doing such an awesome job with Riot. When we
decided to get his AKC title earlier this year, Riot
had 4 points, including a Best of Breed, but hadn't
been shown in AKC in nearly two years....Gina
and Riot went out and, in just 8 weekends,
amassed 11 points, two majors, a Best of Breed
win and group placement. They went Best of
Winners, Winners, or Reserve (including multiple
Major reserves) every time shown except one.
Gina and Riot...you did a great job and you did it
with STYLE!!

October -
10/28/06 - RIOT continues winning in AKC by taking Reserve Winners Dog to a 4-Point Major today at
the Sacramento Valley KC show in Dixon.
10/15/06 - For the second show weekend in a row, RIOT goes Winners Dog and Best of Winners at
the Two Cities Kennel Club show in Yuba City on Saturday for his second AKC Major and Reserve
Winners Dog on Sunday! RIOT now just needs two points for his AKC Championship!! (photo above)
September -
09/10/06 - After taking a month off from the dog stuff to relax and get caught up around the house,
RIOT goes Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Redwood Kennel Club show in Petaluma on
Saturday and Reserve Winners Dog on Sunday!
July -
07/30/06 - RIOT competed in his first ASCA herding trial on July 29 & 30 and walked away with
qualifying scores in all six runs, three new titles (Started Trail Dog - Cattle, Sheep, and Ducks), and
Most Promising Started Dog honors! He also placed 2nd on ducks, and took a 4th on both cattle
and sheep.
07/04/06 - The final ASCA Conformation Merit Standings are in for 2005/2006....RUMOR FINISHED
AS THE #2 BITCH and #3 OVERALL IN THE NATION!!!!!! I am so proud of my little blue girl I could
bust!!! We set our goal to make the Top 10 and once again, she's exceeded my every expectation!!
Way to go ROO!!! (pictured below)
June -
06/10/06 - RIOT takes Reserve Winners Dogs at the
Contra Costa County Kennel Club show.
May -
05/30/06 - We finished the ASCA Show year off with an
AWESOME weekend at the NorCal ASC Memorial Day
shows! RUMOR was shown four times and was BEST OF
BREED under Senior Breeder Judge Lynn Cobb-Conn,
BEST of OPPOSITE SEX under judge Frank Alhino and
PREMIER CHAMPION under Senior Breeder Judges
Barbara Peters & Wendy Finsterwald. RUMOR was the
only Special during the weekend to take an award under all
four judges!! She was on fire and I am going to miss
showing her in ASCA. RUMOR will now enter
"semi-retirement" from conformation as we get back to
agility and, of course, motherhood!
Congratulations also to Hotwire and Gitalong on RIOT's son, ZAP (Hotwires Shocked @ Gitalong) for
being pulled in winners under SBJ Lynn Cobb-Conn fro the 9-12 class!
05/20/06 - Never in my WILDEST dreams could I have hoped for a day like today! At the Coyote
Hills AKC show, RIOT, once again handled by Gina Stubblefield, went Winners Dog, Best of
Winners, and BEST OF BREED over a large line up of Specials that included multiple group
winning/placing dogs, as well as two nationally ranked Top 10 dogs! Then, as if the day wasn't
complete, RIOT and Gina took a GROUP 3 in a huge group of 16 dogs! In doing so, Gina not only
competed flawlessly with some of the top professional handlers in the country, but also went up over
multiple Best in Show winning and top ranked dogs! It was a surreal day and I'm not sure I have the
words to express how proud I am of both Gina and RIOT. Simply put...They were breathtaking!
(see photos below)
05/14/06 - RIOT takes a 3 POINT AKC MAJOR going WINNERS DOG & BEST OF WINNERS at the
Camellia Capital Kennel Club show in Woodland, CA.
05/07/06 - RUMOR starts the month off going BEST OPPOSITE at the Central Valley ASC show in
Reedley

April -
04/24/06 - RUMOR had great weekend out in ASCA
once again taking back to back BEST OF BREED
wins under Senior Breeder Judges. The wins came
at the ASC of Rogue Valley show in Oregon over a
nice entry of specials. A big thank you to both
judges, Gayle McDonald and Janet Goin.
The Oregon weekend was made even more special as Riot's favorite "kid" and handler, Gina
Stubblefield of Hotwire Australian Shepherds, finished her lovely blue girl Kelly (Ch. Gitalongs Bark At
The Moon, HT). CONGRATS GINA! You're a great traveling partner and "co-pilot" (good call on the
one-way street!!)
04/16/06 - RIOT took an AKC MAJOR RESERVE today at the Sacramento Kennel Club. We rarely
show AKC, but have decided to get his AKC Championship. He and Gina looked great!
04/02/06 - RUMOR did us proud at the Delta ASF show this weekend - taking BACK TO BACK BEST
OF BREED wins over a really nice entry. Both wins came under Senior Breeder Judges - Judy Norris
and Carol Ann Hartnagle.
