08/24/07 - At the Mensona show this past weekend, RUMOR  returned to the AKC ring in style taking Best
Opposite
on Friday and an Award of Merit on Saturday with a large line up of Specials.  A couple of
Rumor's kids made their AKC debut as well.
LASSEN and J.D. did an awesome job in the Best of Breed
Puppy competition on Friday.  J.D. took
Best Puppy honors and then made the final cut of 6 in a really large
Herding Puppy Group.

8/12/07 - RUMOR  earned her AKC PT herding title this weekend by easily qualifying on both of her runs.
Rumor received great comments from both judges on her easy going working style, while her handler (that
would be me) was told to breathe and keep walking!! *LOL*

08/05/07 - RIOT  picks up both his Novice Gambler Q's at the PASA agility trial to earn his GS-N title!  Now
my sweet boy will get a much deserved break for a few weeks!
July -

07/29/07 - Despite and over abundance of "heat" (the actual temperature, plus
several very cute bitches),
RIOT still managed to put in a good showing at the
NorCal ASC herding trial in Vacaville.  Riot picked up
Open Q's in both ducks and
sheep, placing second on ducks and third on sheep.  Riot also took placements
both days on Open cattle, but missed his Q's.  Considering the only time Riot has
worked cattle is at the trial itself...I am still REALLY proud of my boy!!

07/21/07 - RUMOR celebrated her 5th birthday in style taking back to back
GROUP 1
placements and a BEST IN SHOW at the UKC shows.  Way to go
RUMOR!!!
June -

06/30/07 - Even though she's still not totally back in coat after having puppies just six
months ago and we're still working on toning up her show figure,
RUMOR and I
headed up to the Feather River ASC show on Saturday.  Entered only twice, Rumor
took
back-to-back Best of Opposite Sex wins with a nice line up of specials under
Senior Breeder Judges Laura Shivers and Gayle McDonald.  It was so fun to be back
in the ring with Rumor and we received several comments on her "raring to go"
attitude.  Suffice it to say that she was extremely excited to be back in the show ring!!!
Check out the picture of her free stacking with the big grin on her face...she loves
those hot dogs!

06/03/07 - After a 8 month absence from the agility ring, RUMOR was a last minute
entry to the PASA Agility Trial and finished her
RS-N title!  It's been so long since she's
done any agility work, that I was unsure how well she would do.  I shouldn't have
worried!  She was very happy to  be back in the ring and picked up her final Q needed.

May -

05/07/07 - At her first AKC herding trial, RUMOR qualified in both her Herding Tested runs and earning her HT
title
with wonderful comments from the judges!  Riot's daughter,  FLIRT, also qualified in both her runs earning
her HT title the first time out.  This was the first title for one of Riot's kids and the first title for a dog bred by
Hotwire Aussies!  Congrats to Gina Stubblefield on her excellent job handling Flirt.
09/11/07 - WHAT A WEEKEND!!!  At the Delta Show & Agility Trial, the gang really
did us proud!  The highlight of the weekend was
RUMOR's big wins in the
conformation ring - following a
Best Opposite win Friday under Ken O'Brien, Rumor
really showed her heart out on Saturday to take
Best of Breed under Adria Weiner
(pictured) with an entry of over 60 dogs include 13 Specials!!  Rumor finished the
weekend out taking another
Best Opposite under Breeder Judge Kris Churchill.
Sincere thanks to these great judges for honoring my little blue girl.

Making their "big dog" debut in ASCA,
LASSEN took some great class wins and
LUKE won his classes Saturday and Sunday, including a Best Opposite Puppy in
Sweeps
win under Breeder Judge Jill Ward.  Also taking class wins were RIOT
sons,
ZAP and GADER.

While the rest of the gang was doing the show thing, RIOT was having a fun over at
the agility ring and picked up a Q to
finish is JS-O title, as well as another Q for
towards his RS-O title!
10/13/07 - Another great weekend!!!  At the Feather River ASC show, Rumor, along with her kids Luke and
Lassen, were shown only twice, but that didn't stop them from taking home a whole mess of big ribbons!
RUMOR
took
Best Opposite under Senior Breeder Judge Barbara Peters and then followed it up with a Best of Breed
under Breeder Judge Erica Pruitt.  In only their second weekend out in the "big dog classes",
LUKE took
back-to-back  Winners Dog and Best of Winners for two 5 point Majors and LASSEN took back-to-back
Reserve Winners Bitch both to 5 point Majors as well!!  We got a ton of wonderful compliments on these two
youngsters and I was on cloud 9 all day!!

09/26/07 - WHAT A WEEKEND...Again!!!  The "Marabil Gang" put in quite a showing at the International
Show this past weekend.
RUMOR took Best of Breed her only two times shown and also picked up a Group
1
win over a very nice and large Herding Group.  Not to be outdone by his mother, LUKE cleaned up in the
puppy ring going undefeated in the Breed Ring with
3 Best of Breed Puppy and 3 Best Bred By Puppy wins!
He followed that up with
two Group 1's and a Group 2 in the Bred By Puppy Herding Group, a Group 3 in
the Herding Puppy and a
Reserve BEST IN SHOW Bred By Puppy!

Topping the weekend off were new International Championships for both
RIOT and his son, Gader!!!  Big
Thanks to Gina Stubblefield for once again handling Riot so beautifully!  Also, congratulations to Gina and
Teresa Stubblefield, co-breeder Kris Martinson and owner Woujie Mailer on Gader's Championship.  He is
now headed off to what is sure to be a dynamite career in the Obedience ring! (weekend win pictures to
come!)
November -

11/21/07 - With just two show weekends counted, RUMOR is already ranked #19 in the ASCA National Merit
standings
as of October 1, 2007!!!

11/04/07 - Congratulations to Livia Quan and J.D.  on earning their first AKC Rally Novice qualifying score on
their first try at the Vallejo DTC trial today!!  J.D. and Livia did a great job and I am so proud of them both!!  This
was Livia's first trial and J.D. is just 10 months old!!  This team is going to do a great job in both obedience and
agility!
October -

10/28/07 - It's a BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW win for RUMOR!!!  At the
Northern California Herding Group Association's Annual AKC Speciality
Show (photos above), Rumor not only took
Best Opposite over a large
line up of top ranked Specials (including Best in Show winners), she also
won Best Herding Titled Aussie honors and then went on to show her
heart out in the Herding Titled Group taking top honors there as well
over a field of twelve under judge Margaret Shappard!  This win will truly
go down as a major highlight in what continues to be an awesome show
career for my little blue girl.  She rounded out the weekend with another
Best Opposite win at the NorCal / Delta ASCA show on Saturday!
December -

12/02/07 - A totally bald RUMOR proved
that you don't need coat to pull off some
major wins at the ASCA show this weekend.
Rumor went Best of Breed on Saturday
under Senior Breeder Judge Becky DeLeon
over 64 dogs including 11 Specials!  She
followed that up by taking Best Opposite
under Breeder Judge Heidi Mobely and
making the final cut in another large field of
Specials under Breeder Judge Melinda
Gann.
LUKE made his debut in the Breed
By classes by winning the large class and
taking
Reserve Winners Dog to a 5 point
major
!
