Rumor is a wonderful blend of the old Flintridge lines with
other great dogs from Melody, Heatherhill, and Tri-Ivory. She
is the daughter of the Multiple Best in Show and Best in
Speciality show winner, Big E (Ch. Tri-Ivory Make A Big Wish)
and wonderful dam, Terra Jean (Ch. Melodys Full of
Surprises). I truly believe that Rumor is the very best of both
her parents.
Big E was one of the first "show" Aussies I had every seen
and he simply took my breath away. Later that year, I met
Terra Jean and fell in love with her expressive face and
incredibly sweet, silly nature. When Cathy told me that she
was breeding Terra Jean to Big E, I begged her to be put on
the list for a blue girl. When Rumor popped out, it was quite
literally a "surprise"! With an umbilical tear threatening her
life, I found myself on the way to the vet with a minutes old
puppy in my hands as I tried to hold the tear together and
Cathy stayed behind to whelp puppies. Later, she told me
that "the life you saved may become your own" and she held
true to that promise by allowing Rumor to be my little dream
dog. I will be forever grateful.
